On Friday July 15th, we had our Annual Summer Picnic for all of our residents and their family members; and I can say with confidence all of our residents participated in the festivities; even the ones that choose to be in their apartments!!! We approximate we had 150+ in attendance.

We had a photo booth that residents and families enjoyed taking pictures in; as well as sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bean bag board game, ladder ball game and Brother Music, Sister Rhythm serenaded the crowd!!
Many families and resident have commented about the fun time they had; here is just a sampling!
Catherine Siebold (daughter of Dottie Carlson) stated “Thanks for the great party!”
Leanne Bjorklund Sikkink (daughter of Marion Bjorklund) said “It was wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!!”
Edna Martenson’s family even had friendly banter with their family from Florida; saying “Hi Kathy in Florida; we can sit outside and not roast!”
We really want to put on a great party for our residents and families for the simple fact that; they are our family and we wouldn’t want anything less! We always know it is a success when the next day the residents are sleeping in!
